Poult Service Room Technician
Full time – hourly
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
Job Responsibilities
Load poults on conveyer for servicing
Confirm box number and flock numbers match
Careful handling of poults and attention to poult density
Stack Poult filled boxes
Transfer to holding room
Understand and meet the hatchery sanitation/biosecurity policies and procedures
Perform all required equipment and work area clean up
Occasional work on Saturdays or Holidays
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work a 10 to 12 hour shift
Basic math skills
Ability to grasp and pinch repeatedly with both hands, hand coordination to rotate wrists and manipulate poults with fingers and thumb of both hands
Be able to work in a moderately dusty environment continuously
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
