RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and manages the execution of annual brand plans to ensure sales and profit expectations meet the stated goals.

  • Develops a 3-5 year business plan for responsible brand(s) and business units outlining sales, profit, investment and innovation plans.

  • Works closely with multiple internal functional areas (e.g. sales, consumer insights, research and development, cost accounting, logistics & transportation, purchasing, etc.) to communicate brand(s) direction, resource needs, etc. and acts as the final decision maker for the brand.

  • Is responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective execution of the integrated marketing plan for the business, including traditional & digital mediums. Works with agency partners in the development and execution of advertising campaigns.

  • Is responsible for brand innovation and new product development based on a clear understanding of consumer & shopper insights and needs relative to the brand promise. Works closely with multiple internal & external parties to bring the innovation ideas to life.

  • Handles period financial reporting and forecasting for responsible brands and businesses.

  • Handles period reporting on brand and category health measures.

  • Works with operations, logistics, forecasting and purchasing departments in management of finished goods and supply inventories.

  • Works with National Category Sales, Category Management and Consumer Product Sales in the development, deployment and measurement of the sales volume plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of marketing experience

  • A pattern of initiative and success.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.

  • Strong analytical and time management skills.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated creative thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated aptitude and effectiveness in budget and financial management.

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

Preferred:

  • MBA

  • CPG experience

LOCATION: Austin, MN-Corporate Office. This position may be eligible for a relocation package.
